Acoustic Beatles

The Acoustic Beatles are a duo comprising of Brian O'Donnell and Phil Barker. Brian's passion was always the Beatles and one day he answered an advert in the paper looking for people interested in forming a Beatles band. He rang the number, Phil answered and the Acoustic Beatles were born.

Since that time the band have played venues the length and breadth of the united kingdom, entertaining people at weddings, corporate events, pubs, lounges and private functions. The set list and harmonies they produce are so appealing and in demand that they are always asked back to play again at future gigs.

They re-create the Beatles music using Takamine 6 and 12 string guitars and Marshal amps. Every song is in the original key.

Band members

Brian O'Donnell started playing the guitar when he was 7 years old and was in his first band at 16. This was an r&b band and one night the singer didn't turn up for a gig so Brian stepped in and has been singing ever since. He then joined a six piece show band called quest, which he fronted. They did big events but Brian always wanted to play Beatles music. His wish was granted and he now lives his dream in the Acoustic Beatles.

Phil Barker playing guitar and singing Beatle songs after many years of playing crap he is just where he wants to be.

The tight harmony between Phil and Brian is a joy to listen to.
